ODZLA Beginnings |
| The One Drop Zendo of Los Angeles was formally opened by Shodo Harada Roshi on September 17, 1997, where for four months, remained an oasis for general meditation practice. Doshin and Jikun reshaped the zazen group on January 30, 1998, modeling itself after the strict Rinzai form as practiced at Sogenji Monastery in Okayama, Japan. |

Shodo Harada Roshi gives our zendo a name |
| Harada Roshi has named our zendo the "Tanden Zendo." This name was given to us on Thursday, September 18, 2003, just after our first two -day kosesshin. |

Fees |
| There are no fees, however, we have a Donation Box where people are welcome to donate anonymously. The donations collected are used for sesshin costs when the Roshi visits Los Angeles and for sponsoring members to attend sesshins out of state/country. |
